It is my intention to update the YPP Team once a week about the happenings at Your Planning Partners so we are all "in the know".
The most likely and most reflective time for me is Friday evening at about 6 p.m. over a glass of wine. It'll be sort of like going out for drinks on Friday night and talking about the week.
On that note, here are some of the high lights of what happened in Your Planning Partners this week:
- Amy has increased her hours. Yes!!! She is now in the office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. This is huge for us. As we continue to grow and meet our Goals, we have been stretching everything just a little too tight, and we knew it. Amy being in the office more and taking on new responsibilities will help us continue to serve our clients in the best possible way and support the marketing needed to continue to grow.
- Carrol led the "curriculum"componenets of the Coaching Calls with Business Builders Group 4. It was really, really good. Of course, Carrol is a wonderful Coach, that is is given :-) For us, it was great to finally confirm someone else coaching the Business Builders is going to work.. We thought it would, and we hoped it would, and it has taken us ages to find the right Coach ... But, you never really know until you get there.
- In the past couple of weeks, Carrol, Amy and I worked together on scheduling and doing Coaching Calls for Group 4. We have had some learning curves. Rather than go through those here are the results:
- 1. Carrol is going to do all of the scheduling of her Coaching Calls and keep us informed of the times. (This is a simple solution but major break through :-).
- 2. We are more aggressively working toward getting Huddle up and running for Group 4 in order to share important client information. And, therefore we will be prepared and ready for Group 5 Mar 09.
- 3. I am going to make a formal announcement at the beginning of Thursday's Session about the transition into Carrol taking over the Coaching. I did not "warn" participants early enough and I wasn't as clear as I should be about our intention. Rightfully, Sherpa had the courage to bring it to my attention. We acknowledged it. Corrected it and it is all good.
- 4. We continue to grow and we continue to learn. :-)
- Deanne and I had a Strategic Focus Vision Session. I loved it! It was soooo good. I will let her tell you about it and the HUGE clarity she came to. She has an amazing Mission.
- We are really excited that Deanne has offered to lead the YPP Team through a Personality Profiling Workshop in March. The date is to be confirmed because we really want to have everyone be available to participate. It is going to be so helpful and so much fun.
- This "inhouse workshop" is a lead in to another first for YPP. Deanne is going to lead the Rapport team through this workshop as a part of their Team Planning Process later in March. Faith is really excited and we are too.
- "Taste The Chocolate" was incredibly well received. Check out the Recommendation on my Linkedin. By the way, the person who gave the recommendation is Enzo, a neighbour who we have been building a relationship with in the elevator 39 floors at a time over several years. This workshop was our first opportunity to bring him into the YPP Community :-) He'll be at the Books n' Brew. Hope you get to meet him.
- We did not, ... yet ... get any registrants for the March 9th Business Builders from this event. Please note the "yet". I'm doing my follow-ups etc. We'll keep you posted.
- We know it is a great tool and brings huge value to the attendees. I need to make my close at the end stronger and we need to get more clarity on where it fits into the Buy-in Funnel. It may be that it simply confuses the process. Or, something else has to change.
- We are goint to run it again in April. Then we will have another look at it. We will let you know the date next week.
Please try to make it out to Books n' Brew on Tuesday February 23rd.
There is a CAWEE Lunch & Learn on Thursday February 25th, let Amy know if you would like to be a YPP Guest.
If you have any comments, question, announcements or your own updates we would love to hear.
Thanks for listening. Have a great weekend.
